How much are garage doors?
Garage doors come in various sizes, styles and colours as well as several different working mechanisms. There are various choices when it comes to a new garage door and these include up and over garage doors, sectional garage doors, canopy garage doors, side hinged garage doors and roller shutters. Prices start at £500 including fitting and can increase to over £4,000 for a bespoke garage door.
What is the standard size garage door?
There are very few garages that are a standard size. The two most common sizes are 7ft x 6ft 6” and 7ft x 7ft.
Can any type of garage door be fitted to my garage?
Not all garage doors operate in the same way and require different dimensions such as headroom and clearance. This is important when considering roller shutters and sectional garage doors. When considering side hinged doors a sloping driveway would be problematic. We perform a full site survey to ensure you get the right door for your needs.
What happens to my existing garage door?
We remove and dispose of your old garage door as part of the cost of your new garage door. We are fully licensed waste carriers.
Can my garage door be electrically operated?
Whether it’s a new or an existing garage door most are designed to accommodate an electric operator. Even most side hinged garage doors can be automated. Doors fitted with canopy style lifting gear are not advisable to be automated.

Why is my roller shutter not operating?
There are various reasons why your roller shutter is not closing or opening. The most common problems can be caused by an obstruction or a safety mechanism fault.
